Midi Touch update & a slider tip

So another quick update hit the store in the last few hours, Midi Touch 1.1.1. This fixes a few bugs:

  • Program Change messages now sent with much better compatibility
  • Fixed a bug where XY Controllers labels could disappear
  • Fixed a rare bug where Drum Pads could sometimes get stuck

Don’t worry, we have much more in store than bug fixes!  The next update, v1.2, is currently in beta testing and adds a heap of new stuff.

Also, a quick tip that some of you have already discovered:  slider gestures.  These are really cool.

If you double tap a slider on it’s rail, for example where the white dot is in this screenshot:

Double tapping on the rail will cause the slider to instantly jump to that point.  Also: if you move your finger up or down on the slider rail it will ‘fine tune’ the slider.  Very handy.  Wouldn’t it be great if there were more gestures ..?

We’ll leave it at that before we reveal too much about 1.2.  If your interested, keep an eye on @iOSMidi_com
